Magnetospheric physics Group

This research unit is devoted to studying multiple-scale fundamental process of magnetosphere, including (but not limited to) the solar wind energy into the magnetosphere, the energy release, energy transport, energy transfer and energy dissipation within the magnetosphere, space storms (Geomagnetic Storms, Substorms, energetic particle storms) and their relations with solar activities, magnetic reconnection, plasma waves and wave-particle interactions.
