Solar system exploration Laboratory

Since its establishment in 2005, the Solar system exploration Laboratory has been committed to the development of detection technology for the planetary and interplanetary space environment of the Solar system and the research on related scientific issues, especially in the field of space Electric Magnetic field detection. We have the research ability of the whole chain from the proposal of scientific tasks to the development of instruments, data processing and space science research. The team has undertaken lots of important projects including Deep Space Exploration, High-resolution Earth Observation Project, National Key Research and Development Plan, key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Civil Aerospace research project and other national major projects, and has made achievements in space magnetic field measurement technology, Martian space environment and Lunar surface environment research. The Near Earth space magnetic field satellite detection payload technology and the Plasma active test technology won the Second and Third grade awards of scientific and technological progress.
Our team has developed instruments for several important space science missions, including "Yinghuo-1", Zhang heng-1(CSES), Fengyun-4 (01/02) and FengYun-3(05) magnetometers, Tianwen-1 Mars surface magnetometer,High resolution Earth Observation Project Airborne vector magnetometer, HongHu project magnetometer, etc. The technical level has come up to the advanced world standard. At present, the high-precision magnetometer of CSES(02), SMILE MAG magnetometer, Tianwen-2 Asteroid magnetometer and Chang'e-7 magnetometer are under development.
