Space Weather Modelling Center

This unit is devoted to the R&D of the physical modelling of space weather, mainly focuses on the global magnetohydrodynamics simulation model of Earth's magnetosphere and the research of the large- and meso-scale magnetospheric physics, the development of the numerical modelling of outer heliosphere and the exploration of the edge of solar system, the small-scale physics of Earth's and planetary magnetosphere and the numerical modelling, the magnetosphere-ionosphere coupling model and the analysis of the observation data, and the R&D and technical support of the space weather forecasting modelling.
