Space Weather Team

In order to stimulate the development of cross-disciplinary studies and promote international scientific collaboration and exchange, the Laboratory for Space Weather has organized a space weather team, which consists of 6 outstanding young Chinese scientists and 9 eminent international scholars.

The team will integrate the efforts from the international experts in the space weather research to:

1. investigate the fundamental space weather processes in the solar corona, interplanetary space, magnetosphere, ionosphere and middle upper atmosphere;

2. establish the physics based realistic space weather forecast methods and models;

3. explore the new space mission concepts and develop new observational techniques.
