The 2011 ILWS Workshop “Towards the Next Solar Maximum” will be held on 28 August - 1 September 2011 at the Friendship Hotel in Beijing, China.
This will be the fourth in a series of very successful and well-attended meetings sponsored by the International Living With a Star (ILWS) program, under the overall auspices of the ILWS Steering Committee: Wu Ji (China - Chair) Philippe Escoubet (ESA - Vice Chair), Lika Guhathakurta (NASA), Masaki Fujimoto (JAXA), Anatoli Petrukovich (RFSA) and William Liu (CSA). Previous meetings have been held in Goa, India in 2006, Varna, Bulgaria in 2007 and Ubatuba, Brasil in 2009.
