讲座摘要

The global structure of the heliosphere is governed by the complex interaction between the supersonic solar wind and the partially ionized Local Interstellar Cloud (LIC). Empirical constraints on the global heliospheric structure remain primarily derived from in-situ measurements by the Voyager 1 and 2 spacecraft, supplemented by remote sensing diagnostics. Numerical modeling of this system poses a formidable computational and theoretical challenge, requiring tightly coupled, multi-scale, and multi-component approaches that combine MHD and kinetic descriptions. To address these complexities, our Moscow team has developed a self-consistentglobal heliosphere model. This presentation will overview the model from its theoretical foundations to its currentstate-of-the-art implementation and discuss future challenges in computational physics and observational validation.
